Nationaal Programma Vitale Regio's

Regio Deals (Region Deals with the state) fall under the national programme 'Every region counts' (Elke Regio Telt). In 2025, the last Regio Deals were concluded and the Nationaal Programma Vitale Regio's (National Programm Vital Regions) was launched. With 11 regions, including South Limburg, the national government is entering into a long-term cooperation and action agendas are being drawn up together with a selection of public and private parties. Agendas that focus on liveable regions, a sustainable and accessible level of facilities and a healthy and promising future for inhabitants. In the coming period, work will be done to develop an agenda for this programme.
